MIBEX is a specialist in explosion safety and ATEX or IECEx product and installation design, certification, and inspection for both electrical and non-electrical equipment, assemblies, skids, installations, components, or protective systems.

MIBEX assists manufacturers, machine builders, and end-users with ignition hazard assessments and provides ATEX advice on technical requirements, applicable protection methods, and the explosion-safe design of equipment, machines, and installations in both gas and dust environments. MIBEX also supports the entire process up to the actual ATEX or IECEx certification and CE marking of your equipment.

Through participation in the Dutch Standards Committee for Explosion Safety, MIBEX is actively involved in the development of ATEX standards and stays up to date with the latest developments in explosion safety.

ATEX Folding Booklet

MIBEX, in collaboration with X-Traco and KNEX, has developed an ATEX fold-out booklet with a unique installation card. It provides a graphical overview of the most important ATEX-relevant installation requirements for electrical equipment in gas and dust environments according to EN 60079-14.
